Hi All,
I want to promote NOSTR to people on the other platforms I'm on. I've written something that's not too technical and hopefully easy to grasp. As a new user myself I wanted to share it here first so you can fact check it. and add anything you think is missing or important. I don't want to mislead or misinterpret what NOSTR is. thanks.
NOSTR 100% ownership
Don't feel you own or have control of anything in your on-line life? THAT'S BECAUSE YOU DON'T all of your social media spaces are like a rented house or apartment at any time the landlord can kick you out, how ever Nostr is a house you own and no one can kick you out or tell you what you can and can't say.
You can have your account up and running in minutes and you don't have to give all your private information.
There is NO boss that owns NOSTR YOU ARE THE BOSS OF YOUR ACCOUNT no one can cancel, ban, or manipulate algorithms.
Why? Because NOSTR is not owned by a human
Which means no human ego or political pressure can be applied.
How? It works a bit like bitcoin, and it cannot be taken down or influenced by one group.
The interface on NOSTR is just as good as X Ticktock Red Note etc. in fact with NOSTR you can do MUCH more.
Absolute free speech? YES
Can I make money on NOSTR ? YES infact you can make money instantly no need to get a certain amount of followers. It is possible to get money on every post you make.
Am I going to see lots of ads NO there are no adverts unless there in an individuals post.
If you want true independence and full control of your content join NOSTR
If you want to run a business join NOSTR
If you want to share and preserve knowledge join NOSTR.
If you want to just have fun make friends join NOSTR
