I ended up taking the day off today.
My husband has been at the VA hospital, in San Francisco for even more tests. One of the grandkids drove him, because I still have issues with my eye.
Summer and I have been awake, and on our own since 5 am.
This morning when it looked like the weather was clearing we saddled up for the beach. The closer we got, to the ocean, the darker the sky got. The hail storm was the last straw, so we gave up, and came back home.
It would have been the perfect day to power clean the house.
Instead we decided to cuddle up with our softest, warmest blankets and binge watch Abbot Elementary.
Our lack of productivity was profound.
On top of that I told the grandkids to upgrade their computers on us while they can.
This evening we watched more storm overshadow the sunset.
I guess relaxation was the only important thing on the to do list for today.
