How the LibDems respond to the Budget tomorrow?
Having often claimed to be (economically) to the left of the Labour party before the last election, they now seem to be against levying VAT on private school fees & think inheritance tax is too high...
As Anna Gross (FT) suggests this may have a lot to do with who voted for them - the prosperous (but not mega-rich) middle-classes in the South.
Will the LibDems be tacking back towards Tory territory last inhabited in 2010s?
