I found this study pretty interesting with the ongoing debate about the #VitaminKShot being such a hot topic. As a father this stuff concerns me a lot, and a lot of doctors aggressively pressure new parents to get the Vitamin K injectable within 24 hours of birth. A lot of women want what they feel to be a safer alternative in the form of an oral dose of #VitaminK this study from Denmark conducted a study involving about 390,000 infants using an oral regimen of vitamin K. Not a single case of #VitaminKDeficiencyBleeding was found during the study. With odds better than 396,000 to 1, I’d say the oral vitamin K regimen is a great alternative for mothers who are worried about the injectable. And for doctors who claim that it’s not FDA approved; the Gardisil shot was FDA approved and look how that turned out 🤨
