Well, it seems like i can't reproduce the exact behavior you are getting, but i always noticed some stuttering in Godot.
i have to think on a few test scenes and see a nice way of reproducing it.
What i was thinking is that, i understand why a lower physics rate may feel not smooth on high fps, but it's a physics loop with a constant delta, so i'm having a hard time trying to imagine how can it cause stuttering.
