Set a goal for myself while #running today to stay really focused on remaining in one heart rate zone. I managed to stay in Zone 3 (Tempo/Aerobic) for over 74% of the time.
About 5% was threshold (I love sprinting that last 0.11 mi of a 5k) and some of the rest was warm-up.
Oddly enough, keeping myself out of the threshold zone until the last piece caused my fitness level to INCREASE. 🤯
