"content": "I don't think even RMS would agree. For him there is no meaningful distinction between proprietary and free software when it is running on other people's computers over the network. He would be more concerned with non-free javascript running in your browser than with yt-dlp talking to youtube. He would be happy to have free software to do his tax returns. But it seems f-droid would consider that software as having the \"anti-feature\" of talking to the IRS.",
