in 2020 Germany’s CO2 averaged annual intensity was 399 gCO2eq/kWh, in 2022 it was 486, so it’s actually 22% higher
in 2020 coal contributed 24.1% to electricity production, in 2022 it was already 33%
After Germany switched off nuclear it started to use much more coal and it’s CO2 intensity significantly increased.
