I got tired of this conversation and blocked the person, whose now invisible replies can be summed up as "socialism = work camps" and "you're living in a fantasy world." I don't want to dogpile them. I just wanted to offer up these replies of mine as food for thought: in short, are ideals worth giving up on because so far we have failed to achieve them?
