Found a great property with a nice house and a huge mother in-law house on 5 acres. A bunch of oak and fruit trees but also in a now considered "high fire area". The insurance was the thing that stopped me from buying it. It sucks. I might consider moving out of county so I can build a fireproof house without having to jump through hoops but IDK anymore. I'm doing almost everything I want to do in my house now and I love my neighbors.
