I don't agree and I am going to explain why. In our world there are highly intelligent people that are psychopaths and sociopaths. They don't have the hability of self awareness or learning from experiences. They really don't care. They are goal oriented and do anything to achieve that goal at the expense of others. Sadly reality. The capacity of sel-awareness does not come from intelligence nor knowledge, but from a willingness and sometimes huge effort to do shadow work aka look at one self and the things that we don't like in us, the things we do that are not aligned with our essence and hurt others, and work to rewire our brain/mind to bring those automatic responses (unconscious) to consciousness. Some of this behaviours are learned and we do it without even noticing. Watching ourselves doing it, even if it requires to feel bad and forgive self, that's shadow work. Not everyone is willing to do it and does not require intelligence. It requires awareness and an open mind.
