What is a 'company'? It is Latin: com ('together') + panis ('bread'). So literally, a group of people who share bread together.
So think: is ExxonMobil a company? Is British Gas? Thames Water?
If a company shares bread together, how come the CEO gets so much more than the people who actually do the work?
