A 3.25% interest rate is what's causing houses to be expensive. Any interest rate below around 10% will generate inflation. Fixing the housing market means parking interest rates at 18% for a couple decades until prices are back down to a sane ratio to incomes. Anything else is just choosing the speed at which you race into hyperinflation.
