Hyolobrika (npub1pqp…e753) by nature, personalities online are faceless names, effectively. Whether there's a person behind that name is irrelevant if we can't see it at all in reality, and that's how most personalities online are. Yet we are able to grow attachment and feelings toward those faceless names. I'm curious to know how or why that is possible.
(Not that I'm "immune" to that, I got manipulated a fair share of times in the past; it takes one to know one, I guess.)
