Everything else was with the kids.
Big brother had fun playing Trek pinball and people watching. He dressed as Moopsie with a white button shirt and paper plate mask. At the end of the day my 12 year old boy wanted to meet Desert Rose Cosplay, and we practiced how to respectfully approach and speak to a professional cosplayer.
Both kids were happy to meet Bonnie Gordon first thing in the morning. Got a photo with her, and my daughter chatted her up for what must have been a half hour at the signing table. They are now *big buddies*.
My fearless 9 year old daughter stood up to ask Brent Spiner a question at his panel and she didn't want *any* help. She even got me to enter the cosplay contest, which i would normally be too shy for. We took lots of selfies with cosplayers all day. Got lots of compliments on Mirror Mudd and stood for more pics than I took. Soaked up enough attention to last me a few years, which is handy because our next con is gonna have to wait until Vegas '25.
This one was a roller coaster of amazing meetings led by the brightest little beam of sunshine you ever saw. I was just along for the ride. 💖🖖
