The culinary gods smiled upon me when I craved tostadas, because the best green grocer in town put EVERYTHING on sale — tomatillos, beef, jalapeños, cilantro, radish, green onions, avocados. Like, everything.
Well, I’m no idiot. I’m making tacos, man.
Tostadas, actually. Got the cabbage on sale too.
So I made spicy taco beef (didn’t clean out the bacon pan; onions, chilies, spices, etc.) and tomatillo salsa.
The salsa’s a relegation to me: I have to use my broiler more! #cooking #food
