I had a similar situation when I upgraded from a 3070 to a 4090.
I wasn't sure what to do with my old machine, especially since the computer draws so much electricity even when idle (80W truly idle and about 500W when running a GPU, which for Automatic1111 includes idle), so I didn't want to turn it into a server and chew up electricity for no good reason.
Then my brother's gaming computer blew up, so I donated it to him. Problem solved!
