Kamala Harris continues to lead in polls, betting platforms, you name it.
Is the risk of her being against Bitcoin, or not taking a very pro-innovation and pro-bitcoin approach worth it? I don’t think so, at all. Will she lose voters if she continues the Dems anti-bitcoin approach? Absolutely not, and in fact I’m increasingly thinking she could gain.
My fear is that they do a reset and become more open to crypto/web 3 with some meh SEC policies, legislation, etc, but that they continue to be against bitcoin mining, or making it tougher for the industry due to PoW, have no openness to letting up on cap gains tax for bitcoin, even for low spending, and that they increase or go harder on KYC/AML.
Have any of these things been discussed at these crypto roundtables? Honestly, I doubt it. Almost seems like it’s just been shitcoiners telling them to lighten up on banking restriction, definitions of securities, and perhaps some tax/job discussion stuff.
