When I got our border collie she glued herself to our cat at the time.
The cat would slowly walk and dog stayed no more than a few inches from her face.
It was funny but unnerving for the cat.
I put a cat door in the window of my wife’s office and a runway to it from a part of the back yard the dog couldn’t access to give the cat some peace of mind.
But it was nothing like this.
