Predicting what SCOTUS will do is, truly, a mug's game
having said that, I will now be a mug: The SCOTUS was not kind to Trump in the lawsuits over the 2020 election, so there is some reason to think they are not kindly disposed to him.
I wouldn't be surprised if they are afraid of him and the forces he may unleash: it is not beyond reality to think that if re elected, he might put in jail judges who he finds displeasing
