With a water pistol, we’ve just completed a family re-enactment of the 1922 William Desmond Taylor Hollywood murder. The police records revealed the entry and exit points of the bullet. Our re-enactment suggested that the murderer was either a man on his knees or a woman around five feet tall. The angle of the wrist is all wrong for anything outside those parameters. I’m sensing a Double Indemnity-style shooting with the male-female roles reversed.
