A better a question would have been have I ever written a story that wasn't feminist or concerned with gender issues? The answer to that is yes, but rarely. The rest, all my practice work since 2015, except maybe two stories where the gender of the children in the story doesn't actually matter, all center around women or girls solving problems and not relying on the males in their life to fix, advise, instruct, or coddle them. My feminist writing focuses on women or girls having agency. It doesn't mean excluding or denigrating males, but neither does it mean they need them to succeed.
