Since moving to #nix I've been loving the ability to try out packages without installing them. Just played around with the new #bun 1.0 release and didn't have to install anything, let a script change my .zshrc, or anything like that. Walked away clean. It's a good feeling. And if I do decide to use it for a project, I'll just include it in the nix-shell for that project, which still won't touch my base system or anything that could affect other projects. It's rad and cool.
