Alby is about to start charging for high volume users. I don't have a problem with that. They should charge, they provide a valuable service. If it's reasonable, I'll continue to use them, because I don't want to balance channels and deal with node maintenance. I'm okay with keeping up to a million sats on a non-custodial wallet and transferring to my custodial wallet every so often.
