Answering for Varyenukha as all the others are loners. V is no longer with the person he loves, as the marriage was annulled as part of the sentence that saw him sent off to the Rift Watch, but she still lives in Rachis, and if he ever had the chance, V would spend any amount of time he could with her, whether that's by the fire or on the Rift bank or wherever. He tries not to think about it, though. It hurts too much.
