A lot of my friends who’ve been too confused by Mastodon to join have joined #Threads today — looking forward to them turning on fediverse support so I can follow and interact with everyone under one system ^^

I understand all the issues people have with it, but as the official mastodon account put it, the design of this platform should help insulate them from doing mass data harvesting or causing a lot of moderation headache, hopefully.
