I think JD Vance is an opportunist, a sellout and a jew ass kisser, but I don't think he attacked his people in his book. I thought he talked about poor Whites in an empathetic way, one which largely only gets applied to blacks and browns.

I thought it was an implicit rebuke of the idea of White privilege, a finger pointing towards Appalachia and saying "Look here. These people are hurting, but everyone ignores it."

But whatever, I guess. It's politics.
