That is interesting. I don't have a definitive opinion on the earth's true shape and size, however I find it hard to believe the official theory. I have never seen proper proof that visual refraction exists and is able to "lift" objects from behind physical obstacles to the tunes of many kilometers. Also among other things I have never seen proper proof that gravity as we are told is real and never seen a bent surface of water, as it is always level.
In regards to Ground Position System it can work perfectly fine using triangulation and land stationed antennas. This makes sense considering in mountains and extremely remote locations GPS has low to no signal.
"Circumventing" the earth is possible in flat earth theory, same way as drawing a circle around a dot which is the north pole.
