My ongoing biggest failure is consistently discounting the value of things that seem "obvious" to me. That is: this is obvious; no one would want to listen to me explain this. So there's no point in writing / speaking about it. And yet... it turns out... often the things that seem blazingly obvious to me aren't to others.
It's not just me, either. Everyone has a unique set of skills, experiences, & talents. Something "obvious" to person could be a profound insight to someone else.
