There HAS to be some kind of hack for cleaning a camera lens that does not involve just buying a bunch of products I don't already own
My camera lens has a layer of oil on it that I cannot get off no matter how much I try with rubbing alcohol and a lens cloth, all it does is smear around (I use oil-based bug repellent so it's a nice thick combo of castor and grapeseed)
It's killing me because now all my pictures come out with a fuzzy haze. But every place I look online for advice just tells me "Never touch your lens and only clean it with a lens cloth and approved fluids" and it's making me want to scream. I can't be the only greasy, fat-fingered dummy who has fumbled their lens cap
