Tech people not understanding that 'I don't have to expend energy learning a new system and UI' is a significant accessibility need that overrules just about everything else for me (and many others) is both a general problem in design and specific problem that contributes significantly to the 'For the love of kittens, stop with the unsolicited advice! I'm disabled and I already know this is not a solution for me!'
