There's no explanation of _anything_ outside of Youtube tutorials (most of which amount to 'lol just kludge fixed joints until it stops moving'), and there is _no_ feedback from the solver at all when it fails.
As an example, I didn't know about the one-joint-per-pair-of-parts rule (again, not stated _anywhere_). If you try to add two joints for the same two parts, the solver will silently break. Yes really. This is a 1.0 release.
