It will not affect any data (if you use Nextcloud within mailcow) of an existing installation and won't affect it after the script's removal. But keep in mind, that we won't support it any longer (which also includes additional options/modules for PHP and so on.)
It does not affect the mailcow Nextcloud Authentication, this will still be possible after December 2024.
