when social media CEOs do something bad and cause a bunch of people to abandon / consider abandoning their platform, i wonder if they look at how many "export all my account data" requests have happened since the controversy began. like does that register to them as a significant metric.
(it's undoubtedly a small % of total users who leave, but i still wonder)
