I just took my old Italian blog offline. On one hand, it makes me feel sad: it had been online since 2004, so over 20 years. On the other hand, this version had posts from 2006, with the last one in 2023. In recent years, I’ve written very little, mostly translations of posts from IT-Notes. It didn’t make sense to leave it online like that. It's true, there were historic things like the reviews of BlackBerries or my reactions to the release of the iPhone, but daily visits, once extremely numerous, can now be counted on the fingers of one hand. Many of the links were no longer reachable, as were many of the photos that were not locally hosted. Who knows, maybe I’ll put it back online somewhere as a historical record, but I definitely won’t delete it.
But it’s time to move on and-who knows-maybe use that “space” for something new.
