This is revolting but nothing new to us. Even if you don’t like japanese media or arguably adult content it must be said that such controls over the payment rails gives financial institutions world government powers. They can bankrupt totally legal business. To make things worse the government is broke and Signaled a big invite to the ESG cuckoldry into their economy.
Yeah Bitcoin fixes this but I heard there are some complex fucked up taxation rules over there. Plus onboarding artists and users is another uphill battle.
I’m pretty sure if its not going to be Bitcoin some Chinese payment processor will gobble it.
