#RFKuang's #Babel is turning out to be a very frustrating book. I love the theme, the premise, the plot, the characters, and the commentary on British colonialism, but good god, it's a whole lot of telling and not enough showing. It feels like it's the draft where you get all your ideas out and *then* fill in the actual drama of the situation.
