I'm also not happy that so many people have been socialized to think that pointing out flaws - esp flaws that hurt you - is being "Debbie Downer". Toxic positivity is a scourge. There's looking for the positive and then there's constantly shaming anyone who points out the flaws in our systemic oppressions.
Toxic positivity is another tool of hegemons, IMO.
