However my main issue, is once again the “opt-out” model of consent.
Something many techies on Mastodon are a fan of, but something that should not be the case.
Opt in is cute and makes you cool. Opt out isn’t and doesn't. (Organisation and enterprise levels get opt-in privileges, apparently something something complex contracts)
