* reverted the workaround for https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2260663 to confirm the fix
* tweaked workaround for https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2259266 so the update that fixes it for real would pass tests
