been thinking a bit more about it and decided that sailing is too expensive
however, although the price is high, probably not that bad overall... i could take a passenger cabin on a cargo ship, takes about 12 days, costs around $100-150/day in cost... pretty much nothing to do except read books and one big plus is that i can take a lot of luggage with me, i'm pretty sure my pc, monitor, desk and chair, if suitably packed down, plus all my clothes would be no problem, and these things would be a huge problem to move via air transport and the trip would be actually a lot more expensive on a leisure cruise ship
doing it myself, haha ho ho ho lol
it'd take a good 3 months for me to just get adequate at managing to run the damn thing
i know one thing for sure, i'd be able to plough through all my banked up reading tasks along the way, finish jasher, enoch, probably get through maybe 1/4 of the bible
considering the horrible nature of air transport and the cost of moving my larger items it'd be much more comfortable and marginally cheaper to go this way, all i really need is to figure out how i'm going to get across through customs - 90 day visa with all this luggage showing up on a cargo ship? i guess i'd need to get sponsored to relocate there for work for an american company
i can probably swing that too
i often get these crazy schemes in my mind and then a few days later i'm like, yeah, nah. but definitely cargo ship travel is not a bad idea, and probably i can bundle it together with reissuing my dutch passport, probably end up spending more on my time there than the rest of the trip, haha
damn i'm not looking forward to getting teh passport again, and flying from here to amsterdam and wrangling the schiphol passpoort balie haha
i guess i shouldn't have any similar issues like getting stuck waiting a month for it in Budapest at least, should be under a week from go to woah
