This rushed and overly chopped adaptation leaves a lot(!) to be desired, but it's certainly not as terrible as you might have heard. Fast forwards through mountains of characterization to get to the vampire as quickly as possible, but you've seen a lot worse released just this weekend (that one on Hulu, that one on Shudder, that one on Prime).
