I respect people like charlie angus who are boycotting america but I am not. I have love in my heart for the american people and outside of some trumpists and white supremacists here I don't think the 'take over canada' sentiment is something that most americans really have embraced or fully thought through.
Especially with regard to their tariff policy, unlike canadians I simply don't care if americans tariff us - that's their tax policy and is up to them to decide. I do think the canadian government should respond, but not in terms of retaliatory tariffs. Not sure how Charlie Angus got himself into NATO meetings in the first place but either way -- he's where he should be, I'm where I should be - right now it's the government of canada and the provincial governments that needs to reposition themselves mostly, especially the federal government because defending canadians from other nationstates *its the federal government's job*. The fact that the leaderless liberals are adrift right now is the main problem, and that will soon be rectified.
