In any case, he's grappling with his own issues. He's talking to chatgpt about the polarity issue in the algorithm but what he really means is his own issues. He's socially awkward, which it should be obvious why. He can't understand if people are serious or not. He mostly talks to people on the internet - but more than half of it is text
At one point he used bots to analyze the messages he'd see to determine the mental and emotional state of the people whilst they were typing... But I think his method also had a polarity issue.
