My generation has often been told we are the change-makers, the do-gooders, the ones who will turn this world on its head. Sometimes, that annoys me endlessly. Why is it our responsibility? We didn’t create the problems, and the generations older than us still have plenty of time to right their wrongs. They are still in positions of power, whereas I haven’t graduated high school yet
