This I can understand very well. Did the same later with my daughter, we watched a movie and discussed how it is made cause of my profession. There's lot to learn how things like drama and set design etc work.
Life today, especially in a big city, demands a lot of resilience from teenagers and young people. I wish I could have raised my daughter somewhere by the sea, letting her grow up more exposed to and surrounded by nature. She had that with her grandparents on the countryside often but it's not the same. You can't have it all:)
