I'm 95% certain I've found the death of my great-great grandfather.
He was murdered during a robbery in 1912. The man who allegedly did it was hanged for the crime while his accomplice received life imprisonment.
My GG-grandpa Jack was born into slavery, so finding his exact birth, death, and parents has been extremely difficult.
To close one of those loose ends feels like striking gold.
