Here is the issue. When people have very sharp memories they will remember every little detail and attach themselves to it passionately. You can not expect others to have that level of attachment, or recall. What is a very intense triggering moment for you burned into your memory forever could just be any other day of the week to another person. Something as easily forgettable as what you at last tuesday for breakfast.
While I persist that I am not getting in the middle of this fight and I am asking you to respect my wishes to not take sides in it. I completely empathize with you that your feelings are valid. I am not invalidating them in any way shape, or form. I am just one man who does not want to get wrapped up in this fight.
Whether Marie, ser sleepy, or anyone else is gaslighting you. Is not important here. What is important is that you look at me. Really look at who I am and what I am about. Why are you really asking me to take sides here? I don't want to. It is unfair of you to ask me to do that. Don't expect me to pick up where you leave off in fights with other people. Pick up where we leave off in conversations between us. That is what is important.
