Credit where it's due. Stachys sylvatica with its square stems creeping everywhere just under the soil level, its rather foul smell and often mildewy leaves is probably my least favourite weed (wildflower) on site. However, this year, it's growing rather lush in amongst the Lychnis chalcedonica and it does look good #ontheplot #wildflowers #earlysummer #biodiversity
