A good example of this is GAB. I posted on there for the first time in ages, and was descended upon by hordes of jew-haters, and my post was completely unrelated. After the first 100 or so, I took a break from it. When I went back to look, there were 400 more.
Way back when, GAB had promise, but it has turned into a real sh*t hole.
The only option GAB offers to filter-out the garbage is to block the accounts that post it, which takes way too much time.
On Twitter, I created my own feeds via the Twitter API. Now, Elon wants $100/month to do it. per account (I managed over a dozen Twitter accounts at one time).
Fortunately, Twitter does have "quality" and NSFW filters, as well as word blacklists.
